However, there are quite a few companion apps that we've been able to download in APK format. This video game has been published in versions for Windows PC, Xbox, and PS4, but unfortunately, we still haven't had the chance to play it on Android smartphones or iPhones. This time around, we'll be accompanied by Dogmeat, our loyal and indestructible canine friend.
Get ready for a new installment of one of the most successful action games, that takes us back to a post-apocalyptic world full of enemies that we'll have to fight against. New challenges and new missions to be completed. Fallout 4 is set in New England and, despite the action taking place in the 25th century, the storyline starts on October 23rd, 2077, the date of the nuclear catastrophe, when we took shelter in Vault 111, which we didn't leave until two centuries later. Okay, cool. The fourth installment of the Fallout saga takes place 200 years after the nuclear holocaust of 2077. I've never tried using 2 managers at once so try it out.

Will there be an issues if I run FOMM for this one mod and the rest through Vortex? I figure I might have to change the mod directories for FOMM as Vortex as far as I know if I understand correctly simply manages folders in the data folder itself while FOMM wants to create a mods folder, but I am new to New Vegas modding and I want to get this right.

I am in the final stages of modding NV and I am looking to use the Weapon Mod Menu however it is only installed through FOMM, not even manual installation is an option. Originally posted by Headhunter:Hey man, one last dumb question. There is a couple of bugs that was never addressed (see the comments on the mod page) including a rapid mouse movement (never happened to me personally) and not being able to put mods on sometimes (happened to me frequently). I've tinkered around with WMM and it's not worth it.
If it works congrats if not just dont use that mod. Don't know if itll work but its your best shot. All you gotta do is go to wherever you decided to download your mods and then drag it into the box."īasically download the mod and in your Downloads folder in your PC drop it into "drop files". Quote from a similar question from the Nexus: "If you go into your mod list, you can see there is a, "drop files" box you can click and drag your files to. Especially when it comes to older mods like Project Nevada. Thanks for your help manīut yeah no problem, modding NV can be quite confusing at times. Originally posted by Headhunter:I saw someone since most Mod Managers have pretty much the same underlying function, it would be okay to use them interchangeably but I couldn't really confirm that.

But other than that there really no difference between the managers other than layout and some having stuff like Archive Invalidation already built in (FOMM does at least).īut yeah no problem, modding NV can be quite confusing at times.

I think the confusion stands that MO2 users have the ability to change ini files with the manager and/or install stuff like the 4GB patch with it. I saw someone since most Mod Managers have pretty much the same underlying function, it would be okay to use them interchangeably but I couldn't really confirm that. So Vortex shouldn't cause an issue as it's basically NMM2. When I did use Project Nevada years ago I had no issue installing it with FOMM. I dont know if that's still an issue these days but I use a couple of older mods that state to only use NMM on the nexus but they work fine with FOMM. Most older mods state "use FOMM" or "use NMM" because back then mods for whatever reason needed different files for different mod managers. I guess this goes back to my main problem of whether or not I can bypass Project Nevada's requirement of FOMM in order to use Vortex? Just make sure you're using FOMM Fork, not FOMM. Mod Managers can technically be used together but there really is no reason why. FOMM wont download mods, on Nexus choose "download manually" and in the package manager for FOMM you click on "add mod" and any files you downloaded will be there to activate.
